But I guess we do tend to seek out stuff that interests us in the moment. <br /><br />I think that Jory is exploring the gap between authentic recognition for your own pursuits (that doesn't tend to be monetary, at least at first) and the comfort and stability of a job that may not be particularly fulfilling. Your personal example of going solo has been inspirational to me, and others have also made the leap successfully...but I don't think I've heard much about the dark side, the difficulties involved.
